The BP.csv file is a comma-separated ascii file. The file contains cell specific bacterial production rates compiled in our study. Data were extracted from tables or digitized from figures reported in the original papers.

Column definitions:

1 = BPi, cell-specific production in fg C per cell and per day

2 = Chl, chlorophyll concentration in mg per cubic meter

3 = T, Temperature in degrees celsius

4 = Sources, Data source

Missing values are represented as "-9999".
