rawdata.zip -- All raw transect seedling count data files at once.
see Download page for individual files.
The border between source and removal areas is at distance "0" with densities on the source side assigned negative values and densities on the removal side assigned positive values. PERE is Pectocarya recurvata and SCBA is Schismus barbatus. Distances are in centimeters counting out from the border.
Transect file names are a concatenation of dispersal type, direction, species, and replicate number. Dispersal type equivalents are : Shrub = dispersal from open into shrub; Open = dispersal from shrub into open; and Both = complete exclusion. Direction is either "Up" for up-slope or "Down" for down-slope. Each file is in tab separated ascii format and contains the raw data for that dispersal transect..
Column definitions :
1 = data set number (a value required by the MatLab code for running transects in batches but that has no inherent meaning)
2 = distance from transect border in centimeters
3 = seedling count
