Appendix A. Additional temperature data for controls and open-topped chambers.

TABLE A1. Summary of temperature differences (°C) between controls and warming chambers, and percent of time chambers were actually warmer than control plots, approximately same temperature as control plots, or cooler than control plots. Differences are average of control minus chamber temperatures taken every 10–15 minutes. Positive numbers indicate warming was occurring. Plots were considered to be warmer if temperature difference was ≥ 0.5 °C, cooler if difference was ≤ -0.5 °C, and not different if difference was between -0.5 and 0.5 °C.
