Appendix A. List of candidate resource selection functions for groups associated with female plains bison in Prince Albert National Park, Saskatchewan, Canada.
TABLE A1. Candidate resource selection functions for groups associated with female plains bison in Prince Albert National Park, Saskatchewan, Canada, in summer and winter. Difference in AIC (ΔAIC) among three versions of each candidate model is shown. The versions are the model including (1) only of fixed effects, (2) fixed effects together with random slopes for a covariatea, (3) fixed effects together with random slopes for one or two covariatesb. Forest was used as the reference category, Pmead represented the proportion of meadows within a 700-m radius, G was group size, and SNOW corresponded to SWEstd + SWEstd2, whereby SWEstd was standardized snow water equivalent.
